Max Mayhew is a multi-hyphenate artist native to the Chicagoland music and theater scene. From an early age, Max established himself - or rather, expressed himself best - as a writer, picking up playwriting and poetry as a serious hobby in his teens. Songs like "I'd Rather Be Elsewhere" and "The Hound" started once as poems, but were later reworked into songs to better resonate with a live audience. Max's art, in every endeavor, draws inspiration from interactive forum theater, encouraging his audiences to engage in the text or song as a malleable, constantly evolving piece of art!
